Senior Care Ministry Workers!

(and other visitors, too!)

We're building a network of people just like you who are enthusiastically meeting the spiritual needs of the elderly in Bible studies, room-to-room visiting, church services, hymn sings...and in many other ways.

There are three reasons for the birth of shininglight2gether and the development of this website:

1. First and foremost, to equip and inspire us as laborers working in this wide open field to be well prepared to steer a conversation or circumstance toward an opportunity to lead an elderly person to Christ and to be deeply committed to do so.
2. Second, to work towards identifying a gospel witness in as many senior care homes in the U.S. as possible--there are more than 18,000--starting in the Rockford-to-
   Woodstock area...  then, slowly branching out!
3. And third...to provide a "watering hole", so to speak, for all people involved in ministry to the elderly in senior-care homes, a place to learn and a place to interact.

This ministry is unlike all others. Time is not on our side. We must share the love of Christ boldly...today!
